I am currently Senior Design Manager at Pusheen! I began my journey leading a small team of illustrators who touch everything from style guides to marketing and web content. In 2025 I expanded my role, moving to the licensing team, while still dipping a toe in other areas of the business!
Prior to this, I spent 9 years working at The Walt Disney Company. As a Design Manager, I managed the licensed infant home, bath, gear, and accessories categories. My job was to foster the creative relationship between Disney and trusted infant brands, across all tiers of retail. Working alongside licensees, I provided creative direction, protected brand and franchise integrity, and elevated the brand with new creative solutions. I also provided trend boards and style guide development and/or direction. I began working for Disney in 2013, designing infant apparel for The Disney Store. In this role, I designed infant apparel and owned it from sketch through production, working alongside cross functional partners in merchandising, tech, and sourcing. This came full circle to me as the vertical infant apparel business came back to me in January 2021, in addition to my licensing role.
From 2005 to 2012 I worked at Paul Frank Industries, where I was a Senior Graphic Designer responsible for womens and girls graphics, prints, and style guide development. There were also a lot of fun projects like designing watches for Vestal, painting Skurvy on kids’ faces in our Small Paul tent at Lollapalooza, and designing packaging and choosing flavors for our Paul Frank Lip Smackers. I remember the day I got to taste all the flavors and I thought, “Wow, this is my job.”
In 2009, I helped launch the men’s clothing brand Toddland. I was involved in branding direction, website conceptualization, graphics, sportswear prints, accessories design, creating CADs, custom trims, and even windows and in-store displays. It was a very small, “all hands on deck” operation.
I illustrated the Paul Frank book Let’s Dance (Chronicle Books).
I earned my B.F.A. in graphic design from California State University, Fullerton.
It is important to me to foster a supportive and creative environment. When people feel free to play, magic happens!
In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my husband and daughter and our 2 cats, checking out new and old music, torturing my family at dinner time with new recipes, collecting vintage brooches (the weirder the better), my succulent garden, long walks with a good podcast, mediumship development, astrology, and I definitely want to hear about the haunted house you grew up in, or that time you saw a UFO.
